Located three miles from Ironbridge, the Telford Golf and Spa Hotel overlooks its own 18 hole golf course and leisure complex. The 96 rooms all feature autumnal decor with peach coloured furnishings, and are equipped with direct dial telephones, dial up Internet connections, televisions, coffee/tea makers, trouser presses and bathrooms with complimentary toiletries.
Guests can work up a sweat in the leisure centre, which includes a gym and heated indoor pool and then relax in the sauna and steam room. Golfers can work on their handicap at the onsite 18 hole course, and the hotel also houses a squash court. The Bluestones Brasserie is a light, airy restaurant, with large windows and white linens, while the informal caf� serves hot and cold drinks and snacks throughout the day. After dinner, guests can unwind over a drink and a game of pool in the bar. Practical amenities include room service, currency exchange, a safe deposit box and conference facilities. Motorists will find 250 complimentary parking spaces on site. Visitors can learn about the area's industrial history at the Coalport China Museum and the Blists Hill Museum, both of which are within 900 metres of the hotel. Built between 1777 and 1781, the world's first iron bridge can be found three miles from the hotel. Birmingham International Airport is 40 miles away, with an approximate driving time of 45 minutes.
Renovation Notice:
The hotel's leisure centre is currently closed for renovations. The expected date of completion is November 15, 2007. This date is subject to change. During the renovation period, guests are provided access to nearby leisure facilities and receive complimentary tickets to Ironbridge Gorge's Blists Hill Victorian Town.

Skyrail links the airport directly to Birmingham International Train Station and the National Exhibition Centre (NEC). It runs every two minutes from Terminal 1. Black cabs provide a 24 hour service from the official rank outside the airport passenger terminals. Local buses link the airport to the surrounding district. The easiest way to explore the area is by car.
Driving directions: From the airport, take the M54 and exit at junction 4. Take the A442, signposted Kidderminster. Remain on the A442, and then follow signs for Telford Golf Club.
