The Vagabond Inn Salinas is located off the 101 Freeway. Salinas is the home of California International Airshow and the California Rodeo. From here, you can drive to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Laguna Seca Raceway, Steinbeck Museum, Monterey and Carmel. The Inn serves a daily, complimentary continental breakfast and free weekdays newspaper. Guests will find a variety of dining options in the immediate area.
For the business traveler, the guest rooms have ample workspace, larger TV with remote control, dual line phones and a desk lamp with an additional outlet. From the Monterey/Carmel area:
Take Highway 68 and proceed East for 18 miles. In Salinas, Highway 68 becomes Main Street.
Proceed on Main St and turn Right on East Alisal Street.
Go underneath the 101 Freeway and make an immediate left at Kern Street.
The inn is half a block North.
